Short life Chapter 129- Lets meet again (part 2)

  As everybody is safe and their houses are secure, a tornado heads straight towards Nana's house. Nana gets everything she needs and leaves.

Nana: (in thought) I need to get outta here and fast.

Everything is collapses and objects are falling from the tornado. A torn roof almost hits Nana.

Nana: (shocked) That could have killed me!

She keeps on walking. Terrified of whats going to happen to her.

Nana: (scared) I just hope I can make it out alive. I wish there is some miracle. I don't wanna die!

A tree heads straight towards Nana. Within a split second, Ichi cuts the tree with his sword and saves her life again.

Ichi: Well i guess I was wrong. We were going to meet again.

Nana: Where did you come from?

Ichi: That's not important right now lets get outta here.

They leave. As Ichi leaves and gets Nana to safety, an object from the tornado flies straight at Ichi and hits him. Ichi is seriously hurt.

Nana: Ichi! Are you okay?

Ichi: Just leave me behind and go. I'll be fine.

Nana: No! I cant do that! You saved my life twice already! I cant abandon you! We leave together!

Nana helps Ichi walk to the other side of the island and evacuate.

Nana: Where are we going?

Ichi: Just keep going west and we will get to my ship.

About half an hour later the make it to Ichi's ship and sail off.

Roku: Ichi! What happened to you!

Ichi: Its nothing I'm fine.

Roku: What do you mean its nothing?! Your all covered up in blood and bruises!

Nana: Ichi, just hold still I'll take care of you.

Nana starts treating his wounds and cooks him something to eat.

Roku: Are you going to let her do what she wants? She may be the enemy.

Ichi: Its fine Roku. She wont harm anyone. Let her help.

Nana cooks Ichi some food and feeds it to him.

Ichi: Thank you.

Nana: Your welcome.

Ichi: Why is it that we keep meeting each other? This is the third time already.

Nana: I don't know, but I have been waiting for you for 3 years now.

Ichi: You have been waiting for me that long?

Nana: Yes.

Ichi: Why?

Nana: I just want to talk to you. (blushing) I really like you too.

Ichi: But I'm just a criminal with a bounty on my head.

Nana: You may have a bounty on your head, but your not all that bad. There is actually some good in you.

Ichi: I guess you can say that.

Nana: What did you do to get that bounty anyway?

Ichi: I destroyed a village.

Nana: Why?

Ichi: I was ordered to do it.

Nana: Did you want to do it?

Ichi: No.

Nana finishes feeding Ichi.

Ichi: Thank you.

Nana: Your welcome.

Ichi: Why would a human your age save me like that?

Nana: Its the right thing to do, and i'm not a human.

Ichi: Then what are you?

Nana: I am a Kachina.

Ichi: You mean those mountain dwelling spirits?

Nana: (smiling) That's right.

Ichi: That's something people don't see very often. They are supposed to be undead spirits. So why are you alive?

Nana: A witch use this spell and reincarnated me inside someones body.

Ichi: I see.

Nana: But anyways try not to move too much okay.

Ichi: Okay. I want you to go back to your village when the storm is gone.

Nana: But where am I going to go? Cant I stay with you.

Ichi: No.

Nana: But why?

Ichi: You could get hurt. We are a gang.

Nana: Please i'm begging you! I have nowhere else to go! I'll do anything you need! I can cook and i'm a doctor! Please Ichi?!

Ichi: Why do you want to be around me even though I told you that I am a criminal that is a leader of a gang? Aren't you afraid of me?

Nana: (crying) No I'm not! I really like you and I just want to help out! I don't have anywhere else to go, and if you got hurt again then how can I be helpful if i'm not around! Please I'm begging you Ichi!

Ichi: (sigh) You are not going to leave me alone are you.

Nana: (crying) No.

Ichi: I guess fate is going to always bring us together. What is your name Kachina?

Nana: Nana Kachina.

Ichi: You can stay with me for now on Nana.

She hugs him.

Nana: Thank you.

The scene switches back to Nana and Bureina.

Bureina: So that's how you two met?

Nana: That's right.

Bureina: Maybe it was a good idea to meet up again.

Nana: I love him so much. Just talking about him wont get him out of my mind.

Bureina: I hope I find someone to love me.

Nana: Oh you will.

Bureina: Thanks.

Nana: I'm sleepy. I'll see you later.

Bureina: Okay.

Nana goes back to the ship and sleeps with Ichi.

Ichi: Hello Nana.

Nana: Hi Ichi.

Ichi: Did you talk about that story of yours again? I heard you talking to someone about it.

Nana: I did. It made me so happy to be with you.

Ichi: I'm happy to be with you too.

Nana kisses him.

Nana: I love you so much.

Ichi: I love you too.

Nana: Ichi?

Ichi: Yes?

Nana: I was wondering.

Ichi: What is it?

Nana: When we get married, can we have our own children? I really love kids.

Ichi: I wouldn't mind having a family when I take care of Okkotta.

Nana: (smiling) Okay.
